Accounting Assistant
Job Description
Reporting to the Accounting Team, the Accounting Assistant supports the Title and Escrow Departments by performing financial activities related to general ledger accounting in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls. Shift information:
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
- Process and post incoming and outgoing wire transactions, stop payments, and bank exceptions
- Balance escrow and operating accounts; manage reconciliations and financial reporting
- Assist escrow teams with research requests and discrepancy resolution
- Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain confidentiality while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions
- General understanding of accounting; experience in title or escrow services is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent data entry skills with accuracy and speed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Acumatica, Qualia, or Paylocity is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional team environment

Additional Information
