Office Assistant
Job Description
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Assistant will handle daily office tasks, including answering phones, assisting callers with website inquiries, sorting mail, ordering supplies, and making copies, while offering light support to the management team. Additionally, the role involves organizing applications and paperwork for vendors participating in upcoming events.
Shift information:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Provide excellent phone support, assist callers with website navigation, and respond to member inquiries
- Manage daily office operations, including sorting mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining organized records
- Support event preparation by organizing vendor applications and paperwork for events
- Assist the management team with data entry, document scanning, and other administrative tasks
- Help maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with meeting and event setup as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior office or clerical experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively
