Press Brake Operator
Job Description
A precision metal fabrication company located in the Kent area is in need of a skilled Press Brake Operator capable of setting up and operating press brakes from 35 to 250 tons. This is a well-established, 70 year old company with low turnover and long tenured employees, offering an excellent compensation and benefits package. A great attitude, reliability, and self-motivation are key attributes of the ideal candidate.
The Press Brake Operator position might be a fit for you if you have:
- 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator
- The ability to set up machines
- The ability to use hand measurement tools (calipers, protractors, etc.)
- Clear and concise written skills to keep accurate records, logs, and properly document work
- The ability to read customers drawing, work instruction, and procedures in English
- Good physical agility, the ability to stand for up to 10 hours daily and comfortably lift 50 lbs
