Payroll Specialist
Job Description
As the Payroll Specialist, you will manage payroll for both union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in high-volume payroll processing. Strong computer skills and demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and professionalism are essential for success in this role.

Shift Information:
- Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm
- Edit, process and verify payroll bi-weekly
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely while in compliance with contracts, company policies and federal/state laws
- Assist with month-end close payroll functions reporting and year end close payroll functions
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. You will research/investigate, respond and reconcile to any discrepancies with employees, management, HR or payroll vendors
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Associate's degree in business, finance, or accounting required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll
- Experience with time and attendance systems is required, Paycor is a plus
- Experience within healthcare or union environment is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
