Service Desk Associate
Job Description
Are you mechanically inclined and like helping people as much as you love fixing things? This family-owned hardware, home, and garden center on Vashon Island is looking for someone just like you, and they'll even pay your daily ferry toll!
In this job you'll repair and maintain a variety of small engines from lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, to excavators. Solid mechanical skills and exceptional customer service are needed for this one as you may be troubleshooting issues, discussing maintenance plans, performing equipment repair, writing up service orders, and assisting valued customers. You might be a fit for the Service Desk Associate if:
- You are mechanically inclined and have a knack for fixing all things mechanical
- You like to help people and will go the extra mile to make them happy
- You have excellent communication skills: clear, concise, and friendly
- You can lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
