Job Description
West Sound Workforce is assisting an award-winning federal contractor providing superior facilities support services to the U.S. Government in sourcing multiple individuals to perform D.O.D. Escort functions at the Bangor Naval Base in Silverdale.
Reporting to the Security Director and working within a team, as a Base Escort you will act as an unarmed security chaperone to uncleared contractors accessing base facilities. You will cordially interact with visitors and ensure their safe transport while on government property.
This is an immediate need expected to last 60 days, with the potential for long-term employment beyond that, and training will be provided. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work any shift, and an active Secret Security Clearance (or deactivated clearance within the last two years)
What you will do as a Base Escort:
- Follow all company safety policies and perform assigned duties in a safe work manner
- Escort and monitor unclear personnel into controlled access areas and other locations within mission facilities and grounds
- Interact professionally with all visitors, service members, and members of the general public
What we are looking for:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- An active Secret Security Clearance or inactive Clearance within 2 years
- The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- The physical stamina to walk long distances
- Basic proficiency with computers
