Controller
Job Description
The Controller will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient financial management across the organization. This position involves overseeing accounting operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing audits, and driving financial strategy, helping the organization continue to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Shift information:
- Monday – Friday
- Onsite/hybrid option available
- Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grant requirements, and internal policies
- Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting to leadership and the board
- Manage external audit processes and coordinate with auditors, providing supporting documentation
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets
Education & Experience:
- BA in Accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or leadership roles
- Nonprofit accounting, grant management, or fund accounting experience highly desirable
- Proven ability to oversee complex financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Skilled at collaborating across departments and building relationships
- Proactive, organized, and adaptable
- $500/month health insurance stipend
