Job Description

West Sound Workforce is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist with senior care experience to join a boutique senior living firm based in Pierce County as their new Program Manager. Operating within an atmosphere of warmth, understanding, and consideration, this organization is dedicated to compassionately serving those with unique physical and intellectual needs and creating a fulfilling workplace culture for their employees.

Reporting to the Administrator, the Behavioral Health Specialist-Program Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the Advanced Service Program including, directing, planning, supervising, training, and coordinating services and activities according to federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a passion for assisting those suffering from advanced behavioral health conditions.

What you will do as the Behavioral Health Specialist-Program Manager:

  • Ensure the facility operates in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations and that Company specific policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Oversee resident services to ensure the highest quality of care, including the coordination of those services provided to clients by third-party providers
  • Work effectively with physicians, participants, facility residents, families, outside agencies, consultants, etc. To assure the consistent delivery of quality care
  • Maintain and supervise the ongoing provision of participant care
  • Ensure financial projections for the program are being met and provides the Administrator with routine reports and other requested information as needed

What we are looking for:

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in health or social services
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience as a direct support professional caring for vulnerable adults
  • Knowledge of Washington State regulations governing assisted living establishments preferred
