Cable Assembly Technician
Job Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, Cable Assembly Technicians work independently in dedicated stations to build and solder components used in high-end audio and signal systems. If you enjoy working with your hands, like seeing a product come together piece by piece, and want to learn in a supportive setting, this is the role for you. No prior experience is required; just bring a steady hand, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn! And here’s a bonus: once you’re hired on permanently, your schedule shifts to four 10-hour days each week.
Shift Information:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
- Assemble small-scale components using layout drawings, wire lists, and wiring schematics
- Operate measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and scales
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, soldering, and crimping with hand tools
- Ensure each product meets precise quality and performance standards
- Comfort using hand tools and working with small parts
- Ability to follow diagrams and written instructions accurately
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a supportive team
- General knowledge of electronics is a plus, but not required
