Clerical III
Job Description
Supporting the Airport Building Department, this Clerical III role provides essential administrative support to manage increased workloads and maintain smooth operations. Responsibilities include archiving, creating and managing online forms, updating and maintaining SharePoint sites, editing the intranet, processing minor permits, and assisting with customer service and communication.
Successful candidates will have a strong administrative background, ideally within the construction, engineering, or building permit industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks to support the department’s operations efficiently.
Shift information:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, including electronic data entry, file management, and project email tracking to support department operations
- Maintain and organize archives, process minor permits, and ensure accurate record-keeping to streamline department workflows
- Create and edit online forms, update SharePoint sites and manage intranet site edits to enhance internal communication
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing clear and timely information to support department activities
- Assist with administrative tasks related to construction projects, utilizing industry knowledge and terminology to support project coordination
- High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience providing administrative support in a multi-departmental environment preferred
- Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint) with the ability to update documents, presentations, and correspondence. Experience with construction-related software such as Bluebeam is preferred but not required
- Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong accuracy in data entry, file management, and document processing to ensure smooth administrative operations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
