Job Description
West Sound Workforce is assisting the Port of Seattle, leaders in moving people and cargo around the world in seeking a personable and tech-savvy individual to fulfill a temporary Clerical Support I position located at the SeaTac International Airport.
Serving millions of people every year, The Port of Seattle is committed to public service and prides itself on working for one of the region's most integral economic engines. This temporary position will support the Credential Center by providing reception duties and visitor check-ins. This position will also be trained in and will utilize their electronic badging system to issue and renew employee credentials.
Make a positive impact in someone's day and contribute to the vitality of our community! Successful candidates will be informative, helpful, will have strong data entry skills, and the ability to work onsite at the SeaTac Airport.
What this temporary Clerical Support I position will do:
- Greet and welcome customers in person and via phone
- Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Perform data entry and scheduling tasks within databases
- Help customers with complaints and questions
- Provide accurate and complete documentation
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Previous experience within a front office or reception capacity preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and databases
