Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Reporting to the supervising team, this position is responsible for fielding inbound calls to schedule, adjust, or cancel transportation services for eligible Medicaid recipients. This is not a sales role; instead, it’s an opportunity to provide meaningful support in a calm, focused, and mission-driven environment. A friendly and upbeat phone presence, strong listening skills, and accurate data entry abilities are essential.

Shift information:
- Part-time, Monday–Friday
- 4-hour shifts scheduled between 8 AM – 5 PM
- Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously
- Ask clarifying questions to determine transportation needs
- Accurately input trip details into a scheduling database
- Provide callers with clear, correct information
- Maintain composure and problem-solve under pressure
- Prior customer service experience (call center preferred)
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM
- Clear verbal communication and strong listening skills
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; confidentiality a must
