West Sound Workforce is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County in the search for their next Family Resource Director, a community-focused leader with both heart and strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on impact and enjoys building meaningful relationships while managing programs that change lives. At Habitat Clallam, homeownership is about more than just having a roof overhead, it’s about creating lasting stability, independence, and opportunity.

As Family Resource Director, you'll oversee the Homebuyer and Home Repair programs, ensuring they grow and thrive. You’ll work closely with families throughout their journey, guiding them through the application, financial review, and closing process, while maintaining compliance in a complex housing and lending landscape. You’ll also serve as the key liaison between families, the construction team, community partners, and local organizations.

This is a mission-driven position for someone who can balance empathy with detail, and who values the power of home as a catalyst for community transformation.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage affordable housing programs and homeowner outreach
  • Guide families from application through move-in
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and lending regulations
  • Develop program materials and lead applicant selection
  • Represent Habitat Clallam in community and fundraising events
What You’ll Bring:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Cultural competency and compassion
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
  • Willingness to complete Qualified Loan Originator certification (training provided)
Bonus qualifications: experience in affordable housing or nonprofit services; knowledge of Fair Housing and lending regulations; degree in social work, public administration or related field; and/or familiarity with CAPS or CFPB guidelines.
