Family Services Representative
Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager the Family Services Representative plays a vital role in assisting families with at-need cemetery arrangements and pre-need planning. As the primary point of contact, this individual provides exemplary, personalized service while helping families navigate important decisions with warmth and professionalism.
In addition to supporting families, this position is essential to the organization’s growth, contributing to both community outreach and revenue generation. Successful candidates will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable guiding families through sensitive conversations while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients are essential.

Shift information:
- Full time, Monday-Friday
- Occasional weekends
- Meet with individuals and families to discuss at-need and pre-need funeral and cemetery arrangements with empathy and professionalism Educate clients on available services, burial options, and financial planning to help them make informed decisions that align with their values and traditions
- Maintain accurate records to ensure legal compliance and seamless service coordination
- Develop relationships within the community by networking, providing informational seminars, and engaging with organizations and outreach programs
- Collaborate with funeral directors, cemetery managers, and industry professionals to ensure families receive the highest level of care and support
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a current Life Insurance Producer license, or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to treat others with empathy, respect, and professionalism
- Comfort with public speaking; must pass the company’s internal presentation certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
