Accountant I
Job Description
Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant I plays a key role in supporting financial operations by managing portfolios within payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with various regulations while maintaining financial records and preparing reports. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to the organization’s core values of integrity, compassion, and excellence.
Shift information:
- Full-time, onsite
- Monday–Friday
- Manage financial portfolios, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Develop and maintain processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
- Aggregate and analyze data to identify discrepancies and ensure integrity
- Collaborate with the team to support financial operations and organizational goals
- Associates degree plus 2 years of experience OR 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience managing one or more portfolios (A/P, A/R, or payroll)
- Experience with accounting software and strong general computer skills
- Ability to input, aggregate, and analyze data with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively

Additional Information
