Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this Generalist role supports HR operations for administrative teams, leading payroll processing, benefits administration, HR systems management, and employee engagement initiatives. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience. Shift information:
- Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 pm
- Onsite
- Process and audit biweekly payroll; ensure wage compliance, timekeeping accuracy, and reconciliation of payroll data
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health and retirement plans; coordinate open enrollment and support qualifying life event changes
- Lead HR systems processes, biannual administrative feedback cycles, and employee engagement initiatives, including pulse surveys and documentation tracking
- Coordinate employee recognition efforts and company events, including monthly gatherings and structured internal celebrations
- Manage front desk operations and complete onboarding tasks for new administrative team members, including phone coverage, guest reception, and shared resource oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; 1–3 years of HR experience with hands-on payroll processing experience required
- Demonstrated ability to process payroll independently with a working knowledge of wage and hour compliance fundamentals
- Experience working within HRIS platforms and managing employee data with accuracy and integrity
- High ethical standards with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
- Detail-oriented and systems-minded professional who communicates clearly, manages recurring deadlines effectively, and engages others with professionalism and approachability

Additional Information
