Maintenance & Remodel Technician
Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance and Remodel Technician will handle a variety of tasks, including remodeling projects, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs. This role requires an independent, proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Shift information:
- Full-time schedule with rotating 24/7 on-call responsibilities
- Perform apartment remodels, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and drywall repairs
- Respond to work orders and complete maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Maintain common areas, including lighting, parking lots, sidewalks, and green spaces
- Oversee vendor-contracted work for quality control and budget adherence
- Experience in building maintenance, remodeling, or a related field
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach
- Comfortable using property management software and mobile apps for work orders
