Marine Integrator
Job Description
As a Marine Integrator you will install electrical and mechanical parts, troubleshoot complex systems, and solve installation issues on various boats. Basic knowledge of gas or diesel engines and general mechanical skills are helpful in this position.
Shift Information:
- Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
- Install electrical and mechanical components, including engines, jet drives, and wiring
- Fabricate and install fuel systems, filters, and main/auxiliary wiring harnesses
- Interface and connect components like lighting, radios, GPS, sonar, and HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex installation issues across various boat systems
- Document installation details and support newer team members when needed
- Strong understanding of 12V DC electrical systems, including crimping, soldering, and troubleshooting with a multimeter
- Ability to interpret schematics to build and install subsystems, including part ordering, assembly, and testing
- Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines and basic mechanical skills
- Experience with hand and pneumatic tools, general shop safety, and (ideally) ABYC or Mil-Spec standards
- Effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus five years in a related field (three years with similar products preferred)
