Passenger Experience Surveyors
Job Description
As a surveyor, you’ll head out into the field, onboard transit vehicles, at stations and stops, and occasionally from depots to gather feedback directly from riders. Routes will vary, with assignments concentrated in the Everett area and surrounding communities, including both urban and more rural transit lines, so flexibility and a sense of adventure are a must!
This is a field-based, customer-facing role ideal for those with a passion for public transit, community engagement, and accurate data collection.
Shift information:
- Variety of shifts available, including weekdays and weekends
- Collect intercept surveys from riders onboard buses and trains, at stations, or stops
- Engage in transit rider outreach, maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor in diverse public settings
- Represent the project with professionalism and reliability
- Perform accurate data collection and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of survey responses
- Travel to various locations throughout the designated service area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in public settings and on public transportation
- Must have the ability to travel independently to field assignments, which may vary day to day
- Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for long periods
- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility are essential
