West Sound Workforce is seeking entry level Production Associates to work with a renowned outdoor sporting goods manufacturer based on Bainbridge Island. This is an organization who fosters creativity, innovation, and a love for the outdoors.
As a Production Associate you will regularly interact with the entire production team while learning the specialized processes that go into creating top-of-the-line, handmade products.
This position has a progressive wage scale with an increase to $17.25 after 90 days, $17.50 after 180 days, and $18 per hour at one year of employment. Growth beyond this production level is encouraged with training offered to support your professional goals.
Offering both day and swing shift opportunities. These positions work 4, ten hour shifts per week, with mandatory overtime every other Friday.
What you will do:
- Build and assemble components using different tools processes
- Follow verbal and written production guidelines and specifications
- Monitor quality of materials and products
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
What we are looking for:
- Good dexterity and fine motor skills
- An eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- The physical stamina to stand and move about the production floor for extended periods of time
