Staff Accountant
Job Description
Reporting to the Controller, this position will be responsible for providing a high level of service to internal customers and vendors and will play a pivotal role in monthly closing and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Ideal candidates will be computer proficient with the ability to navigate competing priorities.
Shift Information:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
- Onsite
- Complete accounts payable process by obtaining invoice approval from budget owners, enter invoice into system, and process weekly vendor payment run via ACH, wire and check
- Closely manage prepaid inventory and intercompany transfers
- Maintain vendor information within ERP systems
- Month end responsibilities including bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, various accruals, various journal entries, etc.
- Manage fixed assets including acquisition, disposal, and depreciation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 3-5 years’ work experience in office environment
- 2+ years’ experience working in an ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC highly preferred
- Strong knowledge working in Microsoft products, including Teams, Outlooks, and Excel
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
