Tablet Press Operator
Job Description
West Sound Workforce is seeking Tablet Press Operators to work with Metagenics, a Gig Harbor based manufacturer of high-quality, science-based vitamins and supplements. Working within an FDA compliant clean-room environment, Operators in this position will work with the tablet press equipment to sort, pour, and prepare ingredients for consumable health products. This role is also responsible for maintaining records, accurately labeling products, and preparing relevant documentation. Operating in a fast-paced, process-oriented environment, those who are mechanically inclined with good basic math skills and attention to detail are most successful in these positions.

What you will do as a Tablet Press Operator:
- Operate tablet pressing equipment
- Clean and maintain tablet equipment
- Accurately label containers and products
- Load and unload feed hoppers on tablet pressing equipment
- Inspect product and containers at each step of the process
- Complete batch records and enter information into computer
What we are looking for:
- Ability to safely operate production machinery
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Physical stamina to perform the job while wearing a respirator mask
