Junior Title Examiner
Job Description
West Sound Workforce is assisting a respected, locally owned title and escrow services provider in seeking a Junior Title Examiner to join their team in University Place. For nearly 40 years, this organization has built a reputation for exceptional service, local expertise, and a friendly, accessible approach, making them a trusted name in Pierce County real estate.
Reporting to the executive team, this position will provide critical administrative and technical support to the title department, helping ensure smooth, accurate, and timely title processing. This position is ideal for someone with prior title insurance experience who thrives in a detail-driven, team-oriented environment.
Shift information:
- Monday - Friday
- 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM
What you will do as Junior Title Examiner:
- Prepare and process title commitments, policies, endorsements, and supporting documents
- Review title searches for accuracy and compliance with underwriting and legal standards
- Communicate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and internal staff regarding documentation and status updates
- Maintain organized and confidential electronic and physical title files
- Provide administrative support to Title Officers and Escrow Officers, including document preparation and general office tasks
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience working for a title insurance company is required
- Proficiency with AIM and SureClose software is strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
