Toll Collector
Job Description
Reporting to the Toll Manager, Toll Collectors work independently in toll booths, managing cash and electronic transactions while assisting thousands of drivers each day. Shift information:
- Part-time schedules
- Shifts vary and include day, swing, and overnight hours
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Open and close the toll booth; prepare and balance the cash drawer
- Collect toll fees, provide change, and process electronic payments
- Assist motorists with basic road and travel information
- Report accidents, equipment issues, and hazardous road conditions
- Reconcile and deposit toll funds at the end of each shift
- Prior experience in retail, cashiering, or banking preferred but not required
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail
- Friendly and professional customer service
- Ability to work independently in a booth environment
- Reliable availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Additional Information
